Audi Repair: Oil can light flashing, coolant temp, engine coolant

Question
I have given up on my local Audi dealer service. Out of about 8-10 problems, they have only been able to fix one of them after 2 tries.
My question: 01' Audi TT Quatro coupe 225hp.
The Temp gauge only works intermitently. When it does not work, (Shows completely cold) and when the engine is actually warm. When I break, or the weight of the car is flat or leaning forward. A picture of an oil can dripping oil blinks and beeps three times. But only when the car is actually warm, and only when the temp gauge is not working.
If the temp gauge is working, or the car is cold, there are no problems.
Any idea what the most likely culprit is? Is it something a reasonably mechanical person can fix?

Answer
hello
I hope I can help. We had the same problem in my dealer, we checked and replace oil pump, but the car was still coming back. Than we drove the car with oil press gauge and we just wait untill it happen and when it happened pressure did not drop below min. So after replacing oil press. switch we never saw the TT again.

And also , we replace ECT (engine coolant temp. sensor),because owner was saying his gauge is sometimes stuck on cold in the mornings.
