Cadillac Repair: 1992 Deville, auto theft claim denied on purported forensics for key of the proper type

Question
Now that the weather is getting cold the car is not wanting to start. it takes 2-4 cranks to get it started. In warm weather it starts great. I was thinking it may be a temp sensor in the radiator where the hose meets the block or what do you think. 125000 miles. One bad valve other wise the car runs fine.

Answer
Hello,

Possibly a weak fuel pump. When is the last time you changed the fuel filter? I can't see where the radiator temp sensor has anything to do with this.
Living in Wisconsin, we ran across many starting problems when it turned cold. One of the most common problems related to lack of starting right away in fuel injected vehicles was something to do with the fuel delivery system.
You are saying it has a bad valve and yet you didn't elaborate. What? Burned? Bent? Stuck open? Stuck closed? Exhaust or intake? This can also play into your cold weather starting. Was the valve as you say "bad" last year when cold weather approached? With the bad valve, you are already telling me the engine is not in original operating condition. When is the last time the engine was tuned?
The biggest problem in trying to answer your question is from the begriming, you are already telling me that the engine is not running properly because of the bad valve.
The first thing I would do is repair that valve. Then if there is still a problem, have the fuel pressure checked cold. You might be having a leak down in pressure because of the fuel pump getting old.

If I were you, I would not change a temp sensor in the cooling system, because I cannot see where that is going to be a related problem and sounds like a waste of money.
