Cadillac Repair: 2003 cadilac cts window relay, State farm auto theft claim insurer fraud, Miami forensic locksmith

Question
the relay went out for the windows so we replaced them and it did the very same thing also blowing a fuse for the interior lights both times

Answer
Hello,

Finding a bad relay is rare, but you are dealing with a symptom and not the cause. Why did you change the relay in the first place? How did you come to the conclusion that replacing a relay was going to correct the problem?
The interior lights are not on switched power like the windows are, so you are looking at two separate circuits.
Was there a specific event that caused the windows not to work? Has there been recent service and then you ha problems?
Can you think of any thing that happened prior to the windows not working?
I would recommend obtaining the factory service manual at http://www.alldata.com for around $30.
It can be downloaded instantly.
You need to identify what components are exactly in each circuit. There may be something that is common between these two circuits that can cause the interior light fuse to blow, but without a manual and reading schematics, it is a hopeless diagnoses.
I can't do it without being at the car with a factory service manual.
