QUESTION: the ignition based security and because i dont want it on my car i cant start my car but everything that needed replacing is replaced and i just dont have anymore money

Answer
Hello,

It is no big secret-its a junk system. Now, the right way to do this is not at the relay. It won't cost $1,000, but it may cost $100 plus towing if it does not start now. Might be cheaper and depends on the shop.

The car has to go to an alarm store. Call around and see if they have the vats bypass kit. These kits come with every alarm that has remote start. We threw out hundreds over the years. Have them install the resistor bypass kit.

At the same time have a hidden ignition kill switch installed.
3 reasons- old cars are stolen all the time.

Your steering column locks can be defeated in less than 30 seconds with a screwdriver.

If you have comprehensive insurance, your theft claim will be denied.

Do not play with relays, because you will create problems costing you more money.

Good luck!
