My trunk pull down system is not working. The motor itself works fine, and the fuse is in perfect condition. I am not sure if the actuator attached to the trunk lid is the problem or not. Basically, I removed the fuse because my license plate light would not shut off after my trunk got messed up. Im pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the motor itself, I am just not exactly a mechanic. Thanks Rob.

These can be very complicated. I have rebult many, but have required extreme patience which I no longer have.

My suggestion to you is look upward with the lid open. You will see the latch. Remove the trim.
There are 3 10 mm head bolts on the latch. Loosen the bolts. Slide the latch upward. Tighten and close trunk. You might have to adjust a little.reinstall trim.
This way it is like a normal  car without the pull down.
