Cadillac Repair: After Market cd player, power antenna, memory wire

Everytime i hook up a new cd player in my 99 Cadillac Deville, i can never get the memory to work right. I dont know what im doing wrong. Iv had pros try to hook up new ones and i have the same problem. It keeps memory of last song on cd that was playing but not radio stations, bass, treble and those settings. Help me please if possible!

All I can tell you from experience. There are 2 to 3 power sources to the
stereo. One switched power to the stereo for the power antenna, one switched for the stereo itself. 1 constant power for memory. It could be your memory is hooked int switched power. If that is the case, your displlay will work while the key is on and you will lose all your settings  as
you are discribing.

You could also have a problem with tge
memory wire or a bad fuse.

If your lighter works on constant power, you should be able to tie your memory power there.
