Cadillac Repair: loosing coolant, head gasket, least resistance

Question
yesterday I filled some new coolant in the radiator, just a short moment later I realized a growing little lake below my car...
Now where could run out the coolant, it isn't the radiator, it doesn't look like that it comes from the waterpump and also the hoses look fine.. And it isnt just dropping, it is kind a little waterfall..
How can I repair that, and does somebody know how much that could be if I would bring the car to a shop??
thanks for your help..

Answer
Hello,

Here is your problem. Coolant is like electricity, it flows where there is the least resistance. You could have a bad water pump, freeze plug, intake manifold, cracked block, head gasket and the list goes on:

The only way you can know where the leak is located is to have the engine clean, coolant filled to the top and install a coolant pressure pump to the radiator. Pumping to 15 pounds will show you rather quickly exactly where the leak is. I have a coolant tester on my bench, but that doesn't help you. Most service centers have this equipment.
