turn signals don't work--bulbs are good--where is the flasher unit located on this cadillac?

There are 2 flashers in the car. One for emergency 4-ways and the other for the signals.

I can't give you the exact location, but a general location will do. The flasher is round and commonly silver colored alluminum casing with two wires leading to it.

If you want to get an idea of what you are looking for, turn on the 4-ways. Remove the hush panel under the steering column and dash. This is just a black insulator panel that is installed to prevent seeing under the dash.

Listen for the 4-way flasher. Locate it. Now you will know what you are looking for under the dash for the turn signals. What you can do is disconnect the t.s. flasher and install the 4 way, just to confirm that the problem is not in the t.s. switch.

Go to the parts store and get a flasher. Install. Put your 4-way back.
