ANSWER: Plug wires usually last 100,000 miles and then should be changed.
IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.
What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.

QUESTION: how do you know if wires is bad
AnswerTake a windex spray plastic bottle and fill it with water and start the engine at night and spray the spark plug wires with the mist spray from the windex bottle and see if you see any sparks leaking out of the length of the wires.
Even if you do NOT see any spark leakage If your over 70,000 miles on them, Replace them as a maintenance item.
