QUESTION: Yes i can hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds then quit. how would i check the spark plugs?
ANSWER: Remnove one of the spark plug wires from any spark plug and hold the wire about 1/2 inch or closer to the spark plug and have someone try and start the engine. You will see a blue electric voltage charge jump from the spark plug wire to the spark plug. If you have spark, Try spraying a SMALL AMOUNT of starting fluid into the air cleaner and see if the engine TRIES to start.

QUESTION: Yes the check engine light has been on since I bought it. The guy I bought it from said he tried everything to find out why and no one could find out whit its on.
AnswerDo youknow how to retrieve the codes from the computers ?. You will need a DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER in orser to retrieve the codes. Most auto parts stores have scanners that can tell you what the codes are.
I need to know what codes you have and whether each code is a HISTORY or CURRENT code.
Have the guy with the scanner CLEAR (erase) ALL of the codes and then restart the car and if the CHECK ENGINE light comes back ON, Have him read the codes AGAIN and tell me what they are and whether each code is a HISTORY or CURRENT code,.
