Cadillac Repair: Faulty Factory Alam On 2000 Eldorado, cadillac eldorado, eldorado

I took my Mom's 2000 Cadillac Eldorado to the dealer to fix the factory alarm
going off intermittenly. They couldnt find the problem and said the alarm cannot
be permanently disabled.  I can't believe that is true. How is the alarm
permanently disabled? I live in the Detroit, MI area. Do you know someone I can
take it to to do this? Thanks.

Unfortunately you can't permanently disable the alrm system as it is incorporated within the vehicles computer system and to try and disable it will result in not being able to start the engine.

What is the problem with the alarm so we can try and fix the problem ?.

Tell me EXACTLY what is does and what conditions seem to set it off ?.
