Cadillac Repair: 01 Catera - Leveling Light, odds and ends, catera

Question
Hello,

I was driving today on the highway and approximately 50 miles into the trip, my "leveling" light started flashing.  There was nothing unusually heavy in the trunk.  Just 2 suitcases with clothes, and a few other odds and ends.  I pulled the car over, shut off the engine, shifted a few things from the trunk to the back seat, and when I restarted, the light went off.  So I continued driving, then about another 50 miles down the road, it started flashing again, so I pulled over the car again, shut off, and when I restarted, it went off.  Then this happened a third time, but I was only about 10 miles from home, so I just let it flash until I got home.  Once again, it stopped flashing when I turned the car off then back on.

Do you think there is just a problem with the sensor, or should I have it checked out.  Do you think this is an immediate problem, or something I could get to in the next few weeks?
Thanks for your help.
Shannon

Answer
You have a fault with the height sensor which is very common and should be replaced and adjusted. This website only allows ONE picture and you will need several pictures and directives to  replace the component. You need to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com.
