87 Cadillac Fleetwood how to remove steering wheel lock plate
It has tilt steering. I already have the the steering wheel off now need to remove steering wheel lock plate.
I bought a steering wheel lock plate remover tool but still could not get it off.

There are 2 different styles of lock plate removal tools.

One FOR tilt and telescopic and one FOR standard . If you e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com he can provide pictures of the 2 different tools and show you a short cut method using the standard tool.
