Cadillac Repair: Programing alarm remote, cadillac dealer, 7 seconds

I can not program my remote. It was working and my 2 year old got hold of it while the key was in the ignition. I tried to program it using the method here http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/cad96rke.html but I only see "RFA?" then RFA codes and RFA clear Codes. I do not see the RFA Override option in the list. I have the #2 remote and a 99 deville any help would be great

Your local Cadillac dealer has a scanner to reprogram the remote.

Or try this manual method:

1. Are you POSITIVE that the remote battery is OK ?.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 7 seconds. All the doors should lock and then unlock.unlock
