Cadillac Repair: 1993 Cadillac Broughn, climate control, air bag

QUESTION: My mothers Cadillac air bag light stays on. She is on a fixed income and can't afford a hefty repair bill. It was found during her trying to get inspection. Any suggestions on how to correct. I am pretty good at mechanices but this has me stumped.

ANSWER: Air bag sytems are very DANGEROUS to work on as you can accidentally DEPLOY one that can kill you dead.

IS or HAS the check engine light ever illuminated on the dash ?.

QUESTION: I don't think the check engine light has been on.

Perform this procedure:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) Buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. On the fuel data display you will see LETTERS & NUMBERS being displayed and will stop at PCM?

4. Turn ignition OFF.

5. Tell me EACTLY what LETTERS & NUMBERS display in the EXACT order in which they display.
