Cadillac Repair: 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV Battery Going Dead, cadillac escalade esv, chassis grounds

Question
Is there a way to stop the Cadillac from trying to reset itself?

I had a large sheet of ice/snow blow off a semi and crush my windshield at 75 mph.   After I got my windsheild replaced the battery is going dead.  The automatic seat seems to be trying to readjust.

Would that type of impact cause a computer sensor to keep running where it would drain my battery?

What should I do to fix the problem?

btw - No one was injured and besides the new windshield I had to replace a cracked grill.  very minor considering the impact of that snow/ice chunk.

Answer
I doubt the impact of the ice had anything to do with your current issue, especially since you said it only started AFTER the windshield replacement. I also find it unlikely that a windshield replacement could cause your problem. So I'd suggest starting fresh. First thing I'd do is disconnect the battery and check all underhood cable connections including body/chassis grounds. After that, check for a parasitic draw on the battery. When you say the seat seems to be trying to readjust, what do you mean? Explain that a little more.
