Cadillac Repair: reset the time and date, battery cables, time button

This is the third time I've asked the same 2 questions.How do I set the time and date on my climate control center.When temp/time button pressed it displays the time@date@temp.please don't email back with take a picture of the radio cause thats not what needs to be reset.Its the climate control center I need reset.Also it starts sluggish,has new battery,alternator.Dosen't make any noise trying to start like it would be the starter.It just acts like the battery is dieing but its brand new.So is the alternator.What is a list of things I should check?

If memory serves as the procedure is in the owners manual of which I do not have.

Try pushing the small round button located o the lower right bottom of the climate control panel and see if the hours of the time starts flashing and then push the time button repeatedly until the hours set correctly and then push the lower right button again to set the minutes. Push the lower right button again and the date should start flashing and push the time button repeatedly to set the month and then push the lower right hand button again to set the day and so forth.

Slow starting can be caused by internally corroded battery cables and or worn starter brushes inside of the starter.
