QUESTION: I have a 1997 Cadillac Deville, how do I reset the air compressor now that I have added free on?

ANSWER: HOW did you get the full amount of freon into the system WITHOUT the compressor running ?. The compressor MUST be running to add freon.

How much freon did you add and WHY ?

QUESTION: I vacummed all the free-on, changed the orfice, put a 12 ounce can of free-on in...now the problem is I have to reset the a/c so the compressor will stay on. The reason I did all this was, the orfice was stopped up.

OK, What you need are PICTURES to show you how to JUMPER the AC RELAY so the compressor stays on all the time whilen you finish adding your freon.
