There is NO reset. Is or has the check engine light illuminated on the dash or are you gettiing a SERVICE MESSAGE on the dash.

In most cases when the AC compressor stops running you have a leak in the AC system which needs to be located using an electronic leak detector and fixing the leak and then evacuating all the atmospheric air from the system via a vacuum pump and re-charging the AXC system with the correct amount of freon using a set of AC gages.
