i cant get any power to the wire that goes to the ac compressor that turns it on are their any ac relays and where are they  can you please help me its my mothers car and this heat is tearing her down

Most likely you have a freon leak in the system which is causing the compressor NOT to operate.

Locate the accumulator (receiver/drier) which looks like an aluminum thermos bottle near the passengers fenderwell inside the engine compartment.

Start the car and set the system for full AC mode and on the accumulator you will see a 2 wire electrical connector attached to it. remove the electrical connector and jumper the wires together within the electrical plug and see if the AC compressor runs.
