Land Rover Repair: 1997 Discovery will not Idle, proper test, test tool

My 1997 Discovery will not idle and will die if you take your foot off the gas, it has done this in the past, but now I cannot keep it running.

Answer
You should find a shop with a t4 or autologic test system and have them connect the car to the tester.  I'm sure the answer will be quickly apparent.  You could waste a lot of time chasing something that the proper test tool could find in ten minutes.
