Hi! Seems overnight my Cadillic Deville has a high idle.
Driving down the road it idles from 35 to 50 mph.

Hi Barry,

      If the service engine soon/now light came on pushing off and warmer on the climate control panel with the engine running for 5 seconds might show an E or EE code on the fuel data panel that would lead to the fix. If there aren't any codes and the battery wasn't disconnected or went dead then you will need to take the car to your mechanic because there are several things that could cause this and throwing parts at the problem could prove to be expensive.
