Cadillac Repair: Cadillac Deville transmission, vacuum line, cadillac deville

I had been driving the other day, the LED show me I needed to service the traction control, It just kicked out of Drive, and no reverse, the other gears work third, second and first on auto transmission. It a 4.9 L 1995 Cadillac Deville FWD.

Answer
It sounds like a transmission switch fault or the vacuum connection from the throttle body is malfunctioning. Check on the transmission casing under where the air filter box is, there is a vacuum line going from the throttle body into the tranny, check it fir snugness and listen for a leak, also check the transmission fluid and the fuse for the traction control and/or ABS.
