Cadillac Repair: cadillac fuel filter, fuse block, high pitch

i changed the fuel filter and now i get no fuel to the motor. Do i have to purge the fuel line or is there something i need to reset???????HELP

When you turn the key to the run position do you hear a high pitch electrical wine from the trunk area, if not check the fuse block for either the injector fuse or the fuel pump fuse. And check the connections for leaks, also, did you replace the o-rings?
