Cadillac Repair: Steering Column, cadillac eldorado, haynes manual

Can you please help we are trying to replace the steering column in our 1988 Cadillac eldorado we have the haynes manual but it isn't helping. Is there a possibility you can help with step by step instructions or anywhere we might find diagrams on the net.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Mark,

    If you go to autozone.com  they have repair guides that give some repair procedures. I looked at the removal procedure and I don't think it will be much help to you as there aren't any pictures but it does give the steps. However at the bottom of the page there is an all data dyi that will definitely help and give alot of good info. You will need to subscribe for a years service and it would be well worth it for the info it gives.

     If your steering wheel has the airbag in it I would definitely advise useing that info or if correct prcedures aren't followed the bag can deploy/blow up and cause you to get hurt very badly or even kill you.
