I have a 1993 cadillac deville 4.9 engine with 127000 miles My transmission will not go into first or overdrive gears It feels like its in2nd   or 3rd when pulling off. Other problem you hear brake noise when pull off are stopping. No noise after speeding up. The car has ant-brake system

You need to describe the brake issue more in depth, is it only when brakes are applied, or all the time, if its all the time its not brakes but may be rotor clearance, pad clearance, or possibly but not likely wheel bearings, if its the bearing youll hear it mainly at higher speeds. As for the transmission it sounds like there is a switch fault, or the gear linkage is broken. You will need to take it to a transmission shop for this, if they suggest a tranny tune up for under $100 it may be worth it. in my deville my switch went bad and then my reverse would clunk, then went 1st, 4th and 2nd until my transmission shook so bad and i only had 2nd gear, went to a shop and we rebuilt it, not too difficult its a more less basic transaxle, and rebuilding it will make a huge difference in the driving experience.
