Cadillac Repair: 95 seville floor shifter, metal tower, screw driver

Question
Iam looking for a schematic for a 95 seville floor shifter assembly. The shifter release button is inoperative and the ignition key wont release from the column. The car will start and move through all transmission positions.When shutdown it will return to park but the ignition key wont return to the release position. Any help with removing the shift knob will be appreciated as well.

At the base of the shift lever handle is a "C" clip that you remove with a screw driver.

lift the shift handle off the metal tower.

Pull the plastic rod out of the center of the metal tower and see if it is broken.
