Cadillac Repair: 1983 fleetwood brougham 4.1 limo, fleetwood brougham, bolt holes

Question
I,ve replaced head gaskets and heads on 4.1. almost done, added coolant and noticed coolant leaking from head gasket on drivers side bank . it appears to come from the three center lower head bolts. I do not know if coolant comes through the head gasket or through the head bolt holes. My question is . do the alluminum blocks have a tendency to warp?(I dont think I got a warped head from the machine shop but I guess it is possible). any tips ?

Answer
There are special pellets that seal the head gasket and bolt threads that MUST be used with this engine. Most any auto supply store will carry these pellets.

If they do NOT have the pellets, You can use a STOP LEAK product but only use ONE APPLICATION of the product as it tends to plug up the heater core if you exceed more than ONE application.
