Land Rover Repair: Discovery II door locks, side doors, simple solution

All of a sudden the locks on the passenger side doors of my 2002 discovery II no longer work with the remote or inside switch.  Is there some "simple" solution to fix this?

A new latch is probably the solution to your problem.  Is it simple?  That depends upon your ability.

The specialist Land Rover test systems can actuate the locks in each door one at a time to verify this diagnosis.

If no such system is available you'll have to try a latch.
