Cadillac Repair: 93 cad. deville alarm., cadillac dealer, devile

hi tom...i have a 93 cad.devile with the resistor chip in the key.for some reason the car will not start.when it was running the sec. light did not go off.(never blinked iether)and the alarm would not arm.now the moter turns over but wont start....i checked for power at the distibuter and there is no power going to the coil when engine is turning over...i beleave that it is the theft det. system.i have seen in past posting that you offerd to send some info on this.if you could pos. help me with some advice on this before i send it to a garage that would be verry helpfull.i have a ohms meter and have some mech.exp.i also have the chilton man.and it dosnt list much at all on the alarm part.is it pos. mabe the comp needs resetting?at any rat please get back to me as soon as pos.it is the fact. alarm.chip in key,4.9 moter 93 deville.i may have located the alarm mod.behind glovebox casing.thanx.....also...do you happend to live in or around lasvegas nv?i work at the lasvegas moter speedway and can get tickets to events like N.H.R.A/nascar and such and would be happy to get you tickets to a event,if you would like.

There are 43 pages of diagnostic test procedures that you can do manually that I would need to scan and e-mail to you in order to test the system.

However, The Cadillac dealer has a special test box that enables the test procedure to be diagnosed within 5 minutes.
