QUESTION: checked all my engine mounts top and bottom. all tight. did i mention engine jumps around at idle ? used to some what when new,but settle down at high idle{650/900].it ran smoothest at 80 mph., not any more. any other suggestions? thanks for your prompt answers back. rich

Answer
Since your problem is from idle to 80 MPH and the mounts are fine, it can only be a motor problem. Sounds like the motor is running rough, which would cause the vibration problem. If it were me, I would have a dianostic run on the bike and see if there is a short or a senser getting ready to go out. Without the dianostic you would be guessing on what the problem is
