Questionok i got a e022 code thats all now i think that meens i installed the tps wrong so if you would point me in the right direction on how to fixthis problem or any tricks you might have on installing a tps corretly.

I have this eldorado that wont keep an idle i know the problem manifests itself with the idle control motor. It opens the throttle body wide op[en just to start it i dont know whats going. I have replaced the motor the tps and i think my map is next. I have code e55 e70 e71 with my reader cause i couldnt figure out the onboard computer thing ..plz explain that too.

E055 = Closed Throttle angle out of range.
E070 = Intermittent TPS.
E071 = Intermittent MAP sensor.
Let's CLEAR these codes first.
1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them.
3. Your diagnostic codes will start to appear. Write them down EXACTLY as the letters and NUMBERS display in the EXACT order in which they display.
4. Next you will see ECM?.
5. Push the HI button and you will see ECM DATA?
6. Push and release the LO button until you see ECM CLEAR CODES?
7. Push and release the HI button.
8. You will see ECM CODES CLEAR.
9. Wait 3 seconds and turn OFF the key.
Now, repeat steps 1 thru 3 and let me know what codes you get and then turn OFF the key.
