Question -
i have a 93 sts/i changed the p/s pulley after that it charged well with real r12/now it wont take a charge and low side reads 78i,mstuck any help would be great thanks

Answer -
Did you evacuate all the air out of the system via a vacuum pump BEFORE you added the freon ?.

Could also be a clogged orifice tube.

tom

Answer -
It all depends upon the temp and humidity of the atmospheric air.

Usual rule of thub for R-12 is 5 to 1.

EXAMPLE: if the low side reads 40 the high side should
        read approx 200.

if the low side reads 30 the high side should
        read approx 150.

If your readings are about above then your problem is most likely with the programmer of which you will need pictures and instructions.
