QuestionI have a 1995 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4.9l engine..... 1) My check engine light comes on all the time when I am driving a long distance on the highway. The light goes off when I decrease my speed. 2)Check engine light also comes on when i am riding around town and it also goes off when i decrease my speed. 3) Recently, the check engine light comes on and my car cut off and wouldn't crank up. I waited a few minutes and the car cranked. I got the following codes:
PO27 Current
P052 History
I027 History
I039 Current
I052 History
Eventually the check engine light goes off and I got all the codes above but all the codes were now HISTORY. My car only seems to run rough when the check engine light comes on. I've had my nose switch replaced, drive belt, compressor and tensioner also replaced. What could be the problem?

When the check engine light comes ON, the computer goes into a BACKUP MODE and runs on preset values so as to get you home in LIMP MODE which is why it runs a little rough..
