QUESTION: I am having problems with the gas pressure. The pressure is not staying in the gas line. My van takes a while to start. Thanks

Answer
If you are losing fuel pressure due to a leaky pump/regulator you will need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. Have you had the fuel pressure checked or are you merely guessing that this is the cause for your long crank times? The reason I ask is because there are many other factors that could lead to long crank times. Leaking injectors, excessive carbon build-up on the back of the intake valve, low cylinder compression and a weak secondary ignition system come to mind.
