Cadillac Repair: 93 deville Electronic Climate Control Display, electronic climate control, code numbers

Question
I have a 93 Deville 4.9L the electronic climate control display began flashing and the defrost began blowing out of control as all this was going on the fuel data center went blank.I heard if I unhook the battery for like 30 seconds this might reset the computer.Is this true if not what must I do.THANKS

Answer
First we need to check for computer codes:

1. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons until all segments of the display appear . NOTE: Loook for missing segments in the display panel as this is very important.

3. Codes will appear as;

..E with code numbers.  

.E.E with code numbers.

..F with code numbers.

.F.F with code numbers.

and will stop at .7.0


I need to know what the numbers are EXACTLY as they appear in the EXACT order in which they appear. Such as:


..E56

.E.E21

..F43

.F.F22

when it stops at .7.0    Turn OFF the ignition.



Let me know what all the codes are.
