I tested the spark plug and it is getting spark. when I pulled the plug out, to test the spark it was good, I noticed raw fuel flowing through the spark plug hole when trying to start the car.  The " check engine soon" light went off and on occasionally and it was the last time the car was driven. Thank very much for your quick response.

Question -
I have a 1993 Eldorado that will not start.  I've checked the following, fuses, spark and checked for fuel.  It cranks but will not start i also checked the distributer cap for cracks and i don't see any. the rotor seems to be ok but there is a little bit of carbon in there on the rotor itself.  The engine is a 4.9 V8.
Your prompt response is appreciated.
Answer -
You need to determine if you have spark to the spark plugs and fuel to the injectors before we can do any diagnostics.

Has the check engine light ever illuminated on the dash ?.

Answer -
