Question Hi Tom, I have a cadi thats giving me the following error messages. 8.8.8 .7.0 e52 and ..E I'm also having fuel injector problems. As soon as the car starts I smell gas right away and see some white smoke. If the car was on the highway or street it still runs smooth. Am I wasting my time with it?

Answer888 is the start of the diagnostic system = normal
70 appears AFTER any codes appear and is the start for switch tests. = normal
The E52 means that power was removed from the computer such as the battery was disconnected Nothing to worry about.
QUESTION; The E52 should have come on BEFORE the 70.
White smoke is usually a sign of a blown head gasket.
What kind of fuel injector problems are you having ?. Do you have 2 injectors or 8 injectors ?.
