Cadillac Repair: Alternator, cadillace, bolts

Do you know of any website or guide to put me through the process of putting in an alternator into my 89 Cadillace sedan deville? I was told it wasn't too hard but I just want to be sure. I'm not the best with cars lol.

They really do not show to much about removal. But they do show where all the bolts and the removal/installation procedure in the book.

QUESTION: Why are you removing the alt ?.
