Cadillac Repair: 1994 fleetwood no start with code 41, 1994 cadillac fleetwood, cadillac fleetwood

Question
Hi.
I'm in the UK with a 1994 cadillac Fleetwood limo with the LT1 motor. It hasn't started for 3 years! I have been called in. The blind leading the blind!! Anyway, a code has been set in the onboard diagnostics of 41 (OBD 1)-EST, high voltage. I cannot get any output from the coil, even though there is a good waveform to the ignition module. All power supplies and grounds are good. I have tested the coil on the bench and there is no output. I am wondering if the coil primary resistance has gone too low and caused a high voltage at the module. What do you think?
Anyway, I am going to replace the coil, clear the code and see what happens. getting another coil will be a tad difficult here in the UK, but we are in no hurry!
Thanks for any reply.
Andy.

Answer
If the coil does not fix your problem, You may have a faulty ignition coli module, or a faulty PCM or an open 10 amp fuse under the hood or an open or grounded circuit.

I have a diagnostics chart and an electrical schematic of the faulty system if you need them.
