Cadillac Repair: 96 Cadillac Deville air conditioner, cadillac deville, diagnostic charts

Question
I just had the compressor changed on my 96 deville.  I keep getting a message saying  the compressor is off.  I have been told the computer needs to be reset after working on the compressor but don't know how. Can you tell me how to reset it.
