Cadillac Repair: Chevy Quadrajet Carburator, quadrajet carb, edelbrock aluminum intake

Question
Did know who to ask. What can i do to keep a 4bbl. quadrajet carb from overloading and making my truck run rough when the fuel gets hot in the float bowl ? I am fairly good with quadrajet carbs, but this one stumps me. My work truck is a 78 CHEVY dual wheel one ton truck with a .030 350 engine. I have a edelbrock aluminum intake, also have a big 4 core raidator W/ a 7 blade fan, and a 160% thermostat for summertime running only.  HELP HELP !!!

Answer
This is one that has YET to be solved and stll has problems with fuel injection vehicles as well.

What I did with my vehicle was to install an electric colling PUSHER fan on the front of the radiator and wired it to a temperature switch so when the engine temp reached above 180 degrees after I shut off the truck this electric cooling fan would turn ON and run until the engine temp cooled down thus eliminating the air bubbles in the fuel line and carb. The electric fan usually ran for 10 to 15 minutes after I shut off the truck but it did resolve my problem.

Another trick is IF you have A/C is to run a entension METAL LINE from the carb and plastic tie band it or better yet, wrap it with insulation onto the COLD A/C line within the engine compartment.
