Chrysler Repair: 2006 Chrysler ABS sensor/warning light, abs light, abs sensor

Question
I had the same problem with the ABS light coming on a lose of brake pressure, so I had it diagnosed at the dealer with the same response of replace all four. Well I purchased the sensors and I replaced the front two. I was about to get into the rear two but those are Turning out to be a much better pain. Question: If the problem was in the front sensor does disconnecting the battery reset the computer?

Answer
Hi Joe,
As I read the manual, once you correct the cause of the ABS light coming 'on' the light should no longer illuminate. So if the problem was in front and you correct it then it should no longer turn the abs light 'on'.
The trouble code that caused it to come 'on' will remain stored in the ABS controller memory until erased with a code reader or you drive 3,500 miles, but the light will go out nonetheless.
