Question -
When I start the engine from cold, it will not idle until it reaches a certain temp, usually after about 2 min of pumping the gas just to keep it alive. Then it will stay running although idling quite fast. When the engine is warm there is no problem. Regular idle may be a bit rough.
Answer -
fuel injected or carburated ?. E-mail me several pictures of the engine comparment so I can identify the type of fuel system you have.

It is the gas 380 fuel injected, standard engine on the 79 Seville

If it is actually fuel injected WHY are you pumping the gas ?. Your accomplishing NOTHING but exercising your foot.

In oredr for me to know EXACTLY what fuel system you have take some pictures of the engine components, especially the throttle body area and e-mail them to me at:
