Cadillac Repair: 95 sts service ride control code s062, junk yard parts, rotary position

Question
recently i took this car to a dealer he told me the first time it was a rotary position sensor. he had to order the part. took the car back and was told that they got a bad sensor. so fine took the car back a third time and then they said not only is it a bad sensor but that the control module was incapatable with new updated sensor that was ordered. can anyone help me with this problem. are they right or wrong. can i get an old sensor from the junk yard or what?

It is possible that there has been a design change in the system and that a new controller MIGHT be necessary.

Although I do NOT recommend JUNK YARD parts as you have no way of knowing IF they work or not when you buy them.

I suspect that it is highly possible that the facility does not have the capability and or expertise to properly diagnose your problem.

Your only other opton is to try another facility.
