Towing Issues: Tow truck lockout hero... Car electrical issues now!, chevy cavilier, electronic locks

I have a 93 Chevy Cavilier... locked the keys in last week. Now I have noticed the following electrical things not working in my car: Electronic Locks, Buzzer for lights and keys in ignition, Dome Light, and Horn. My brother looked at my fuses for me... when trying to replace the 15amp it blew immediatly. Tried a 20amp.. and it was arcing before even inserting it all the way! All of these worked fine prior to locking my keys in my car and the door being jimmied open by a towing company. Could that be causing all of these issues????? I am suppose to take the car there tomorrow and they said "if they caused it they will fix it" I'm afraid of course they will say "wasn't us and hand me a HUGE bill" ------ HELP!

Thank you for the question. Yes that could diffently be
caused by the tow company. There's a lot of wires in there
in a harness, power locks, power windows,lights in the door,
speakers, along with rods for the lock mechanism. One bad
pull or push or the wrong opening tool will cause problems.
They should have entered through the passanger door and
used a funny looking tool that slides under the window and
into the inside of the car then down to the power lock
button and unlock the car just as if you pushed the button
from the inside. They should have used a wedge and a thin
piece of plastic to protect the glass and molding. You
should closely inspect the point of entry for any damage
since they will be responsable for that also. They should
not have used a slim-jim (long thin piece of steel) tool
to open your car, but only the speciality tool I mentioned
above. The wrong tool will work but causes damage in the
wrong hands and its difficult. A trained tower can use the
right tool and open your car in less than 1 minute. Also
you might demand the vehicle be repaired at a dealer and
not by the tow company. Since they will want to save costs
and repair it themselves. And there could be other damage
not apparent or related to electrical, your door is filled
with all kinds of plastic ,rubber moldings, spacers, coverings and insulation all of which could have damage.
