Cadillac Repair: I have a 1995 Eldorado with..., air intake hose, throttle plate

Question
I have a 1995 Eldorado with a few problems. The first one is with the turn signals. Both sides do not blink once the indicator is turned on. The hazards work - just the turn signals do not come on when they are put on. Fuses have been checked - and appear okay. Where do I go from here?
Second, the blower for the heater is not coming on. The control module is showing the fan picture on a high setting. When I do turn on and off the heat I can hear a click inside the vehicle but the blower is not coming on. I have checked fuses again and they appear okay. Where should I go from here?
Today, the vehicle is now stalling. I am thinking possibly the fuel filter or fuel pum. Any suggestion?

Answer
The turn signals most likely have a faulty TIRN SIGNAL FLASHER.

The blower motor not coming ON is most likely either the motor itsels or the fan control module.

The stalling COULD be that the fuel pump is getting weak but more likely is that you have a BLACKISH RESIDUE BUILDUP around the throttle plate which is very common. You simply remove the fresh air intake hose and visually look at the throttle plate and using a spray cleaning agent clean the above said RESIDUE from the throttle plate are. Just behind the throttle plate in the throttle bore you will see a small hole in the sidewall this is your IDLE BYPASS CIRCUIT. Also spray some cleaner into this hole to clean out the RESIDUE.

Go to any auto parts store and ASK the counterperson for a cleaning agent suitable for this purpose as there are numerous brands that work very well.
