Answer
Hi Jerry, Looking in the shop manual it doesn't list any special tools for removing the drain plug or filter. However the Lisle tool company makes a spring loaded adjustable tool that is shaped like a U and grabs the filter on 2 sides and then a 3/8" ratchet is used to turn it. Most of the bigger auto parts stores should carry them or be able to order them. The advantage is that 1 remover is used in place of 10 or so differant sizes for the smaller filters. To remove the drain plug requires a metric wrench or just use a crescent wrench. If you are interested I have the factory 3 piece shop manual set...the same ones that the dealers use...that I can sell you for $20 plus shipping if you are interested. You can email me at willnick3@netscape.net for more info if needed. Hope that helps and Happy Holidays. Bill
