Cadillac Repair: cruise control servo, core charge, bolt hole

Question
IS THE CORE PART OF THE SERVO UNIT, OR THE OLD ONE TO BE RETURNED?

Answer
Hi William, I'm not sure about the servo but any part that can be rebuilt has a "core charge" and will be stated as such on the parts reciept so that they can get the old part back and rebuild it to resell to someone else. You will be charged a certain amount depending upon the original price of the part. Of course if you choose not to return the core or the old part is broken like an alternator missing a bolt hole tab that broke off then don't expect to get your money back for that core. Hope that explains the core issue. Bill
