Cadillac Repair: blower motor module & circuit, trouble tree, smell smoke

Question
Hello, I have a 1990 Buick estate wagon. while driving, a burning smell/smoke came from the vents. The blower motor module(in heater/a.c.case under hood) burned a hole in it. I believe the cause to be a seized blower motor, very tough to turn. I replaced the motor & module, & repaired the terminals. No power is coming out of the module to the fan motor. I have a factory manual & the wiring diagrams show different wire colours & I think terminals. Also, some of the wires to the module come from another solid state module that I connot find on any diagram, it has a number on it that does not seem to be a number that that GM lists.
any help would be appreciated, thank-you

Answer
Hi Gary, You need to repost this question in the Buick/Olds section because if you can't figure this out useing a factory manual then there is no way I can give any advise on a car that has no simularities with a Caddy. If I had a Buick manual then it would be easy to trace the circuits. The only thing I could suggest is make sure the blower or a/c fuse is good and then follow the trouble tree in section 1 under blower inop. Sorry I can't be more help. Bill
